AGENDA
Our Annual Meeting this year is to be held in the magnificent setting of the Ashridge Estate in Hertfordshire. The impressive Ashridge College is the centrepiece of the National Trust Estate and we shall be holding our meeting in the Old Library of the main house.
The programme will include a history tour of the buildings as well as time to enjoy the beautiful grounds – we hope you, your partner and magazine contributors will be able to join us on this special occasion.
Ashridge College has kindly allowed ACE to enjoy their beautiful facilities at a highly discounted rate, and ACE will also be offsetting participant costs from its own resources. This has enabled us to charge a modest fee of £10 per person for the day and this will include a very good lunch as well the history tour and morning and afternoon refreshments. Please feel free to bring your partners and church friends, particularly those who help and support your magazine production. We feel confident that you will be inspired not only by the surroundings, but also the programme content.
Membership of ACE is growing and we feel the annual meeting can play a big part in giving us all a boost as we face the challenge of producing our magazine. It is clear from feedback received that our new Ideas Forum is going to be much valued by ACE members and we shall be referring to this, as well as other ACE initiatives and plans, during a short AGM before lunch.
The agenda for the day is summarised below. If you’d like any more information please don’t hesitate to get in touch:
Keith Milmer, Chairman (01442 841083) or John Farrow, Vice Chairman (01582 769975).
